What a maintenance wash includes
- Top-down foam wash with pH-neutral, wax-safe marine soap
- Waterline attention — scum line and light staining addressed each visit
- Full rinse with soft water where available
- Chamois and forced-air dry so nothing spots in the sun
- Windows, windshield and isinglass cleaned with plastic-safe product
- Cockpit, gunwales and non-skid rinsed and wiped
- Vinyl seating wiped down; deep conditioning on scheduled visits
- Stainless rinsed and wiped; polished on scheduled intervals
- Engine bay / bracket rinse and corrosion inhibitor
- Bilge check and visual walkaround with anything unusual reported

The economics, plainly
A bi-weekly wash on a 26ft boat runs a few hundred dollars a month. A multi-stage oxidation correction on that same boat, once the gelcoat has gone chalky, is four figures — and it permanently removes gelcoat thickness, so it's not a repair you can keep repeating forever.
The unglamorous truth is that boats don't get destroyed by dramatic events. They get destroyed by two weeks of salt film, forty times a year. Wash programs exist because the cheapest possible maintenance is the maintenance that happens before damage starts.
How the program runs
1. Baseline visit
The first visit is usually a deeper clean or full detail so the program starts from a known-good condition. We won't start a maintenance plan on a neglected boat and pretend a wash will fix it.
2. Fixed schedule
You pick weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We assign a day and a crew and keep it consistent — the same people learn your boat's quirks.
3. Same-day reporting
Photos after each visit, plus a note if we spot anything: failing sealant, a loose cleat, corrosion starting, a fender chafing the hull.
4. Scheduled deep work
Wax or coating topper, vinyl conditioning, stainless polish and interior deep clean roll into the schedule at the right intervals so nothing gets missed.
5. Flexible pauses
Hauling out, travelling, boat in the yard? Pause the plan. We don't charge for visits we don't make.

Wash programs are priced monthly by boat length, frequency and how the boat is kept. Members get preferred pricing on all detail work, priority scheduling and no trip charges.

Questions people actually ask
How often should a boat be washed in South Florida?
Every one to two weeks for a saltwater slip-kept boat, every three to four for a dry-stacked boat that only sees water when it's used. The driver is how long salt is allowed to sit, not how dirty the boat looks.
Do I need to be there for the wash?
No. We work with gate codes and dock access, and you get photos after every visit.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is not a wash — it's dirty water with salt already on the boat. We reschedule genuine washouts within the same week at no charge.
Is there a contract?
Month to month. Cancel or pause any time. The only thing we ask is that we do a baseline detail first if the boat needs one, so the plan starts from a fair condition.
Will washing strip my wax or coating?
Not with what we use. Maintenance washes are pH-neutral and wax-safe. Acid waterline treatments are reserved for detail visits, not routine washes.
